Together for Christmas

In order from left to right – Georgie, Bella, Macey, and Poppie.

We had a “house full” of people for Christmas day – and briefly during the afternoon a “couch full” of dogs. Thanks to my dog wranglers for organising this shot.

Puppie sleepover

Last weekend was a big one for Poppie and Bella – they had two friends sleepover.

Macey and Georgie came to stay and for two days our house was a sea of moving Bichons. Wherever you looked there was a pair, or three, or four dogs playing, eating, sleeping or barking at the gate.

It was great fun for all involved and Sunday night our girls slept well, completely exhausted.

Another cute dog shot

Let me start with an apology. Sorry, it’s yet another cute dog shot. Yesterday Bella the puppy discovered a green Cicada in the back yard. Every time she went to sniff it, the Cicada flew a few inches away, which for Bella was captivating.

A footnote for the animal lovers among you – both Bella and the Cicada survived the encounter unscathed.

Spot the dog

Bella in the toysBella is 9 months old and although she is close to full grown she is still very much a puppy. As you can see from this shot of her after she dived into the toy basket. Extra points for spotting the head, the tail and the stray leg.

Warning – gratuitous dog shot

Today I was playing with Poppie the dog on the study floor. I just happened to have my camera and a wide-angle lens with me at the time.

After about 5 minutes and 50 photos we both ran out of steam. Well I ran out of steam, Poppie just got bored and wandered off. But somewhere in the middle of those 50 shots was one I really liked.

Sorry, it’s another gratuitous dog shot.
