About ten minutes from where we are staying is the Duke of Bedford’s estate at Woburn. As with many of the stately homes of England, the abbey and surrounding grounds are open to the public and operate as tourism businesses.
Woburn includes a stately home, gardens, deer park, safari park and event location all in one. The famous Paris restaurant is also located in the grounds of the Abbey.
On Easter Monday we called in for a visit. Although taking photographs in the abbey is prohibited, here are some shots from around the grounds.
- Woburn Abbey.
- A stag in the grounds of Woburn Abbey.
- A secluded corner of the grounds.
